Liam, 9, is a big pizza fan, and he’s thrilled to join Papa Johns in bringing more awareness and support to the life-changing care provided by Shriners Children’s.
Liam was born with proximal femoral focal deficiency, which means that his left leg does not develop at the same rate as the rest of his body. In 2023, Liam began receiving specialized care at Shriners Children’s Erie, including outpatient clinic visits, physical therapy, and a custom brace from the pediatric orthotic and prosthetic services (POPS) department.
Today, Liam continues to grow and thrive. He enjoys swimming, playing board games and video games, and reading. He is currently a 4th grade student at Clark Elementary School in Harborcreek where his favorite subjects are math, science, and of course, recess with friends!
As part of our new partnership with Papa Johns, Liam had the chance to visit his local store to make a pizza of his own! He is a big pizza fan and had a blast getting behind the counter. Papa Johns also recently made a special pizza delivery to the staff at Shriners Children’s Erie.
