Spirit Halloween has donated over $11 million dollars to Shriners Children’s since 2007. Their unwavering support has helped our Child Life departments provide funding for art, music, aquatic and pet therapy programs as well as the purchase of educational items and toys used for distraction during medical procedures, and much more. Child Life Specialists work with kids and their families cope with the stress and challenges that come with the hospital experience.
This year, James, a patient at Shriners Children’s Chicago with a brittle bone condition, had the chance to take a special shopping spree at Spirit Halloween to pick out all the items he needed to create his perfect costume.
