Leah’s Project was started to help you protect your children and family from potential water-related burn injuries. In partnership with Shriners Children’s™, we are a dedicated group of home inspectors providing education about the causes of burn injuries and safeguarding water temperature in the home. Homes are the sites of thousands of burn injuries to children every year, including scalds, fire-related injuries, electrical burns and flammable liquid burns. With some simple precautions, many of these types of injuries may be prevented.
